Swim Course
What has made White Lake the popular triathlon venue since 1996 is the lake itself. Popular belief is that White Lake was originally formed as a result of a meteor impact. The 2-mile long egg-shaped lake, is only 9-10 feet deep (at it's deepest point), and is fed back subterranean springs that are the source of the crystal clear water.
White Lake will provide participants with one of the most enjoyable open-water swims they've experienced.
The two-loop swim course for the Half will be set up as a triangular-shaped course.
Participants will exit the water - run about 20 yards to the swim start location - and then re-enter the water for the second lap.
The swim course will be set up and a lifeguard will be on duty from 5pm - 7pm on Friday (5/3) for anyone wishing to get a practice swim in.
